Renny Murray.......me?

Well?  It's rather hard to write about one's self. That's probably why it's taken me so long to create this page. I'll take a stab at it tho.

I tend to be rather obsessive.  If you're a regular to this site, you probably have realized that. I'm a person of creative moods. I will create Alphabets for awhile.....LOTS of them. Awhile back.....it was Tubes and I created a bunch of them.  I got on a Texture binge for awhile too. Now? It's Fonts!  I acquired some font software and ......it's been fonts now for a few weeks! Who knows what it'll be next.....

I love Cats. I have 3 adult cats and 3 kittens. Over the years, I can't even count all the cats I've had. Cats are a pleasure to have around....they are little trouble....and aren't messy. Cats have such a nice way of showing their love.

At the moment.......I'm 47. I'm starting to show my age.....sort of depressing, considering that I feel more like in my 30's. But, it won't bother me, I guess, til perhaps my 50th birthday. I've always been rather thin....which is good. I can eat whatever I like....and that's a plus. I'm a natural blonde...being the only one in my family (of the girls) who managed to keep it. 

I was married for 17 years. Now I live with a man.....who constantly tells me that he's TOO good to me. He's right too. He used to be a chef. I always hated cooking.......and I haven't cooked since I got divorced almost 10 years ago. Am I lucky or what? He cooks me restaurant quality dinners every nite. Yup! I'm still thin.....

I work for a large supermarket company in the Technical Support Department. Been working for the same company for almost 20 years. That's another "clue" about me. I'm loyal. Treat me right...and I'll give you my soul. I'm one of the "employees" that never calls in. I am never late and they get 100% of me while I'm there. I also am never sick. My mother ingrained that in my soul. I had to be at death's door when I was a kid for her to let me miss any school. Needless to say.....I almost never did. 

I have 2 children. Both well into adulthood. My daughter is a pharmacist in Texas. I'm proud of her. Smart girl. Still single too. My son is a typical boy. He hasn't really "found" himself yet. But I have faith that he will. He's a smart kid too....charming  and handsome. He's my baby.

I live in a nice house...in the northern part of our country. I have lots of land and many, many gardens. Every year we grow 2 huge vegetable gardens and put away lots of stuff for the winter. I also have a beautiful greenhouse. It's heated ....so I can enjoy it year round. My living room is filled with "tree" plants some of which are years old. We also have a fish pond. It was a present to my man last year. In the evenings, we sit out there, drink in hand, candles on...and watch the fish. 

I'm a compulsive coffee drinker. I probably consume 4 pots a day. I stay up half the nite...everynite....which probably accounts for all the coffee drinking. I've never much cared for soda and can't even stomach water. Have coffee, will travel. I'm fussy too. I buy a rather expensive brand of coffee and take a thermos to work with me everyday. 

I didn't really really get into computers until about 5 years ago. My daughter lent me her computer for about 3 months ( I forget why now)...but I had found another thing to love about life. One of my relatives gave me my first computer, It was a Compaq Presario. I used it to death....literally. It lasted almost 3 years. I had added everything known to man to it....the poor thing just gave up one night. My son....computer wiz ...built me this computer. It also has everything known to man on it..... And I live on it. I'm not one of those "chat room junkies". I spend most of my time with Outlook Express open....reading mail. In between it all ....I do graphics. It was my son who suggested that I create RennysNiche.com. I knew it would never be small from day one. The site has gotten very large over time and it's my pride and joy. I've met some great people because of it and that's half the fun.

I went back to college a few years ago. I took an unreal amount of math courses....and some programming courses. I had it in my mind to become a programmer. I'm not so sure now. I'm pretty happy in my current job and may let things lie for awhile. I just started in the technical support department a few months ago and I figure it'll take me years to get even close to bored there. Besides.....not going to school gives me more time to create fonts and alphabets! I really must be an addict ....I work on computers all day......and I play on one all night.

That ought to give you all a clue........
